Who amongst us didn’t love the Jungle Book and sing with Balou the Bear who was looking for the bare necessities of life? I know I did and can still sing the words (in my head, of course!) to that particular song.
I particularly loved the scene where that fun loving giant of a bear scratched his itch on a palm tree (or maybe a tropical, other kind of tree of which this city girl has no idea).
Since that original movie, it’s been remade to appeal to a new crowd of children and adults alike. Or course, as an adult of a certain age, I prefer the original one – wish I weren’t approaching the age of Old Fuddy Duddy, but there we have it. (No judgment, please, you know it’s true!)
