Who knew we had rainbow swamps?
This was too gorgeous a photo not to comment on it - and it's in Tallahassee!
Retired engineer Michael Hussey shared his photo of a rainbow pool in Tallahassee, Florida.
Michael said that he was watching the small, swampy area in his grounds at home each day as the water began showing different colors.
"If it doesn't rain for a couple of weeks it continues to become more pronounced," he said.
Michael said he sees it every three or four years, in mid-February.
"I have seen this occur about 10 times in the 40 years I have lived here," he said. "It's beautiful to see."
Wish we had one of these at the Little English Guesthouse - except that means we'd have to have a swamp...which means we'd have snakes....and mosquitos.....and all kinds of other creepy crawly nasties. OK, never mind...
